Also, Louis has revealed a proposal for an on site, mobile research facility that could set up at Hawara and could also be used at other sites later. He posted on the Labyrinth of Egypt FB page:

“HAWARA FIELD RESEARCH STATION — Advancing Heritage Through Technology

A vision for the future of archaeology.

The Hawara Field Research Station is conceived as a next-generation archaeological hub: a place where field archaeology, geophysics, remote sensing, AI, conservation science and sustainable architecture converge to investigate and protect one of Egypt’s greatest ancient enigmas.

But this is also a vision for where archaeology could go next — beyond the traditional excavation camp and into a new era of scientific exploration.

These conceptual images are AI-rendered visualisations created by Louis De Cordier. They are not photographs or representations of an existing building, but an attempt to make a future vision tangible: to imagine how we can move archaeology into the future — and perhaps even into the space age.

A research station designed not only to study the past, but to help shape the future of how humanity explores, understands and preserves its ancient heritage.

HAWARA FIELD RESEARCH STATION

Archaeology for the next frontier.”
